Recommendation 5.2 – Embed self-determination for local Aboriginal communities

The Victorian Government should equip the Victorian Skills Authority to:

• Support delivery of courses relevant to Aboriginal culture and identity, including Aboriginal languages and other skills that build Aboriginal communities’ strength.

• Embed practical support for Aboriginal people into expanded Skills and Jobs Centres to ensure local initiatives contribute to self-determination for Aboriginal communities.
