Recommendation 54 (2005)
That the Victorian Government:
(a) proceed, as a matter of urgency, to abolish the offence of public drunkenness;
(b) establish appropriately resourced Aboriginal run Sobering-Up Centres, which operate twenty-four hours, seven days a week; and
That the Victorian Government implement and monitor Recommendations 79 and 80 through any monitoring process established as a consequence of this Review.
